Sheboygan County Organizations Seek WWII Veteran Photos
Sheboygan County organizations WWII vets’ names
The Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and the Aviation Heritage Center of Wisconsin are attempting to identify as many World War II veterans from the Sheboygan County area as possible for inclusion in a cooperative program scheduled for Aug. 15 — the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII.
The program will take place at the Aviation Heritage Center’s facility at the Sheboygan County Memorial Airport, and will include a slide show honoring area veterans — living and deceased.
Veterans of WWII — or members of families with individuals who served in the military during that conflict — that desire inclusion in the program may contact director of development and communications Angelia Neumann at 920-467-7940 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Those contacting will be asked to provide the veteran’s name, branch of service and their rank. Theater of operations and any honors received may also be included.
Photographs are requested for the slide show. Digital images are preferred, but arrangements can be made to convert paper prints if necessary.
