We Honor Veterans Program
Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice is dedicated to serving those who have served our country. The We Honor Veterans program is designed to empower hospice professionals to meet the unique needs of dying veterans. We teach respectful inquiry, compassionate listening, and grateful acknowledgement to comfort patients with a history of military service and possibly physical or psychological trauma. These men and women, our Veterans, often carry experiences from their military service that present unique challenges at end-of-life.
